Jalousie beach, also known as Sugar beach, is located on the eastern coast of the island. This beach is home to one of the most beautiful resorts on the island, The Sugar Beach Resort. This white sandy gem is nestled right between one of the island’s biggest tourist attractions, The Pitons, which are two mountainous volcanic plugs and one of the most well-known landmarks of the island.

 You can rent some gear and enjoy a day of snorkeling beneath the waters of The Pitons, or rent one of the hotel’s lounge chairs and relax on the beach and get in some sunbathing under the warm Caribbean sun.  Cap the day off with a delicious meal at the resort’s own restaurant.

Pigeon Island is located on the northern coast of the island. This sandy beach is home to many concerts and shows such as The St. Lucia Jazz festival. The great thing about this beach is that you can also climb to the mountains of Pigeon National Park where you can visit the historic site of Rodney Ruins or catch a glimpse of Martinique from a distance. Reduit Beach is located on the northern coast of the island, in Rodney Bay.  This clear water beach is home to The Royal St. Lucian and Papillion Hotel. Though one of the busiest beaches on the island, it is a great spot for a family picnic and a day of relaxation. Marigot Bay is located in the town of Marigot on the western coast of the island. This little piece of paradise is considered one of the island’s hidden treasures.  There are many hotels and guest houses along the beach to stay at, as well as various restaurants and bars so you’ll never run out of options.
