Mud Bath in the Sulphur Springs

After that long trip across the ocean, all you want to do is relax. Come over to the sulphur Springs and open up your pores. Sulphur is really good for the skin. The St. Lucians say when you let the sulphur dry on your skin, you look 10 years younger. Dip yourself into the nice warm pool of water, but not for too long, because it can become very hot when the sun is highest in the sky. Be sure to wear your old swimsuits as they may get discolored from the sulphur.

Take a Stroll Through Pigeon Island Park

Pigeon Island park is located in the town of Gros Islet. It is one of St. Lucia’s most important monuments in history. If you are a history buff, then you should definitely be visiting this place. At the park you will find ruins of military buildings during the battle between the French and the English for the island of St. Lucia. You will also find a lookout point at the top of the fort where you can have a great view of the northwest coastline. After your history lesson, you can have lunch at a pub or restaurant close to the park, or go for a swim on the two beaches near by.

Beautiful Beaches of St. Lucia

One of the things that St. Lucia is known for is its beautiful blue water, white sand beaches. Because of the dormant volcano on the island, there are some beautiful black sand beaches as well. Get off the ship and go to the Anse De Piton beach for a day of snorkeling. Based right between the twin peeks Gros Piton and Petit Piton , this beach gives you an array of aquatic animals and a variety and coral reefs and fishes. Anse Chastanet is a great beach for relaxing under the sun with their many palm trees. After a couple hours of swimming you can relax in on of the lounge chairs from the hotels and take a nice sea breeze nap.
